Music Box Repair Services

The Musical Wonder House offers for you a full spectrum of music box restoration services. Whether a modern music box, an antique singing birdcage or birdbox, whistler, diorama, Anri, Haffner, musical clock or your cyinder or disc music box, our on-site expert staff can precisely restore your musical treasure, from the inner works to the outer case.

We specialize in the replacement of missing parts for your music box mechanism, from the cutting of new gears to the machining of new governor assemblies, coin-operated controls, replcement tunecards, etc.

Pristine comb repairs, from bent or broken tips to new teeth and tips are our technician's specialty. We also can rebuild the often corroded lead weights under the lower register of your comb teeth, which are needed to produce a correctly ringing low tone. If your comb seems beyond restoration, you are in luck. We can machine an entirely new comb for you. We always repair and re-create new dampers with each restoration.

We provide expert cylinder repinning services to restore the missing, bent or stripped pins which are needed to play the notes of your music.

Bellows restoration, bird re-feathering, re-molded tree trunks, silk leaf restoration and custom glass dome replacements are all at your disposal for your diorama.

Our case work is museum quality, replacing missing silver, brass and copper inlays, enamal paints, mother of pearl, and inner and outer refinishing to original specs.

Clock repair is another speciality, from cuckoo to multiple chimes, from miniature to longcase organ clocks. Our technician has 26 years expertise in the field.

Simply Contact Us and we will be happy to assist you. See some examples of our restorations under Meet The Technician.
